Adult Learning – Register Today!

USAGSO-NA strives to provide volunteers with information to successfully manage a group of girls in their journey to Discover, Connect and Take Action, and to provide the resources for additional information on certain topics as needed. Volunteer learning is offered in a variety of ways, so as to best meet unique learning styles: written resources, face-to-face learning, interactive online learning—and additional methods are being developed and revised all the time!

Currently, USAGSO-NA offers:

  • Online learning modules that can be completed at the convenience of the volunteer, any time-day or night – like the required Girl Scouting 101 (click link, select Girl Scouting 101; password: aboutGS101.
  • Face-to-face training opportunities, like Welcome to Girl Scouting, Basic Girl-Led Troop Management Training, and Outdoor Training that allow for immediate feedback on the skills learned and knowledge gained.  These must be registered for in order to attend.  See links below.
  • Webinars on a variety of topics, many are archived on the website.
  • Online resources like Volunteer Essentials and various handouts, tips, and helpful materials
  • GSUSA Materials such as the Adult Guides to the journeys and the Girls Guide to Girl Scouting.
