2009 Adult Learning Conference
After a three year break we are returning to the Edelweiss Lodge and Resort in scenic Garmisch, Germany for 2009 ALC! The brochure will be posted on line in September 2008. The event is scheduled for 27 February - 1 March 2009
10 Girl Scout Ambassadors (grades 11-12) will be selected to attend this event as a "mini" destinations opportunity. Girls will be eligible to apply for an Individual Girl Grant to offset some of the costs (conference fee, lodging and transportation) to attend this event.
The Annual Training Conference is a fun and educational three-day residential learning designed to meet the training needs of our diverse adult membership. Courses include management and personal development workshops; programmatic workshops for troop leaders/advisors, parents and other interested volunteers as well as workshops with an international focus.
This conference offers a variety of workshops designed to enhance volunteer effectiveness in program delivery and administration. Join us for this unique adult education opportunity! Keep an "eye" out for further information about the conference to include courses, cost and special events.
