Program Age Level Training

Available to adults who have completed Welcome to Girl Scouting (New Volunteer Orientation conducted by their assigned Overseas Committee Chair) and Basic Volunteer Training (BVT), this course is designed to enhance skills for troop management and program planning.

Adult volunteers in the Leader (01) and Assistant Leader (02) positions should complete this course within their first year of volunteer leadership. Through hands-on activities the Girl Scout troop leader will enhance their skills on troop management and program planning.

Prerequisite:

  • Volunteers must complete Welcome to Girl Scouting (New Volunteer Orientation) offered by the Overseas Committee Chair (or her/his designee) in their Overseas Committee
  • Completion of Basic Leadership Training

Course Fee:

  • Program Age Level Training is offered free of charge as a service to our membership at our two Cadette/Senior Girl Scout weekends in Heidelberg, September and February, as well as at the Annual Training Conference in March.
  • All transportation costs are the responsibility of the participants
