Parent’s Guide to Girl Scouts Overseas

Who We Serve:

USA Girl Scouts Overseas-North Atlantic serves American girls grades K-12 living in Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands, The UK, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Turkey. Organized in Overseas Committees and located at US Military bases or in communities with a large ex-patriot population. Girls have the opportunity to experience a piece of home by joining a Girl Scout Troop and other participating in other Girl Scout program pathways, including events, camp and travel opportunities. Whether your family has relocated with the US Military, an embassy or a corporation, your daughter must leave everything that is familiar to her.  Yet, she can remain active with the Girl Scouts through USAGSO-North Atlantic. Belonging to a familiar, reputable group gives girls the security of knowing there will be an instant group of friends when you reach your new home.

Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place. Through her Girl Scout experience, your Girl Scout will learn decision making skills, develop values, build self-confidence and show her patriotism through community service.
