Girl Scouts Forever Green

February, March and April 2012

Girl Scouts Forever Green (GSFG), Girl Scouts’ 100th Anniversary Take Action Project, is a Movement-wide effort of girls leading their families, schools, and communities in improving the environment and protecting natural resources. GSFG invites girls to Take Action on three month-long projects taking place in February, March, or April: Reduce Plastic Waste, Earth Hour, and Rain Gardens. Participants are also encouraged to take an Online Pledge stating their yearlong commitment to GSFG efforts.

Making a Difference Starts with You, Here’s How:

  1. Learn more about the Girl Scouts Forever Green projects at this website, noting that USAGSO-NA is using the following schedule:
  1. Complete the project in the month assigned by the USAGSO-NA if possible (but don’t let that stop you from participating!)
  2. When the project is complete, make it official! Be sure to register your participation and results on the Girl Scouts Forever Green website.
  3. Celebrate with your girls the successes of helping to make the world a better place!
