What guides us?

Girl Scout Promise
On my honor I will try to serve God and my country, to help people at all times and to live by the Girl Scout Law.

Girl Scout Law
I will do my best to be honest and fair, friendly and helpful, considerate and caring, courageous and strong, and responsible for what I say and do, and to respect myself and others, respect authority, use resources wisely, make the world a better place, and be a sister to every Girl Scout.

Girl Scout Mission Statement
Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place.

Girl Scout Position Statement
Girl Scouts is the world's preeminent organization dedicated solely to girls - all girls - everywhere. In an accepting and nurturing environment, they build character and skills for success in the real world. In partnership with committed adults, girls develop qualities that will serve them throughout life, like strong values, a social conscience and conviction about their self-worth. In Girl Scouts, they discover the fun, friendship and power of girls together. Through the many enriching experiences provided by Girl Scouts, they grow courageous and strong.
